Basketball Recap: Valley's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 63-50 victory over the Wildorado Mustangs on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Valley was led to victory by Corbin Taylor and Kanyon Taylor. Corbin dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 rebounds, while Kanyon almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Corbin is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 11 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tailor Green, who posted four points along with nine boards and four steals.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 33-3. As for Wildorado, they moved to 25-8 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Valley has already played their next match, a 58-37 victory against Garden City on the 3rd. Wildorado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
