Softball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

Woodlawn came into this matchup off a tough 20-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Hamilton County Foxes by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Foxes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Woodlawn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zaylee Kirkpatrick, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Woodlawn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hamilton County, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Woodlawn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 win against Cisne on the 24th. As for Hamilton County, they have also already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Edwards County on the 24th.
