Softball Recap: St. Vincent-St. Mary Takes a Loss

St. Vincent-St. Mary suffered their biggest loss since March 27th on Wednesday. They came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 10-4. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mackenzie McFarland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Avarie Mays, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.

St. Vincent-St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, St. Vincent-St. Mary will face off against South-Doyle at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Varsity Opponent has already played their next contest (against Musselman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
