Volleyball Recap: Mclaurin Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for McLaurin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Raleigh Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on August 5th.

McLaurin never let Raleigh on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-15.

McLaurin's offense was headlined by Memoree Hunter and Kaydann Reed, who picked up nine kills apiece. Reed really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine. Hunter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.
