Mason put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Oak Hills Highlanders, sneaking past 41-39. The 41-point effort marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mason's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Habra, who posted 18 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Habra a new career-high in blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Stanfield, who put up 16 points and five rebounds.

Mason's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Oak Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Mason will take on Sycamore in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oak Hills and St. Ursula Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
