Soccer Recap: Mount Vernon Takes a Loss

Mount Vernon was the 7-0 winner over Lewis when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Majors fell 3-1 to the Lancers on Tuesday. Mount Vernon have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mount Vernon's record is now 1-6. As for Lewis, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Vernon will head out to take on Edison at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewis, they will venture away from home to challenge Annandale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Annandale will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Lewis surely won't give up without a fight.
