Soccer Recap: West-Oak Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for West-Oak's offense. They lost 9-0 to the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights on Friday. While losing is never fun, West-Oak can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 137th, while St. Joseph's Catholic are ranked 37th).

West-Oak's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

West-Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, they will head out on the road to challenge Greer Middle College at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greer Middle College will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something St. Joseph's Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
