Cedar Cliff has gone 9-1 against Mifflin County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Colts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 4:15 p.m. Cedar Cliff's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Mifflin County's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Cedar Cliff didn't have quite enough to beat Dallastown and fell 2-1. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaiden Alday was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

At the plate, Cedar Cliff saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Secrest, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Mifflin County put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Chambersburg by a score of 4-1. The game was the first time the Huskies have beaten the Trojans on their field since May 13, 2021.

Mifflin County's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Cliff, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Cedar Cliff skirted past Mifflin County 4-3 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
