Crosby extended their winning streak to six on Saturday, bumping them up to 12-5-1. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over HCYA. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw HCYA, too.

As for HCYA, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since February 17th.

For HCYA's part, Jack Arrington was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Crosby wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-3 victory against Porter on the 10th. As for HCYA, they will head out to square off against Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
