Softball Recap: Cypress Creek Falls Short of Springstead in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cypress Creek can now relate to. They lost 9-1 to the Springstead Eagles on Tuesday. The Coyotes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Springstead, they moved to 14-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Cypress Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springstead, they will challenge River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.7, the Royal Knights 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
