Russell Gibson leads Eagle to victory over Minico

The Eagle Mustangs took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over Minico. For Eagle, this counts as revenge for the 63-35 defeat Minico walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2015.
Among those leading the charge was Russell Gibson, who scored 18 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. Cal Huish was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Eagle's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Minico, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Eagle won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Emmett at 7:30 p.m. on November 29th. As for Minico, they will head out on the road to face off against Shelley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
