Basketball Game Preview: American Leadership Academy Patriots vs. Saluda Tigers

The American Leadership Academy Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Saluda Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, American Leadership Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 35-34 to Pelion. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Saluda duked it out withBatesburg-Leesville on Tuesday. Saluda pulled ahead with a 56-55 photo finish over Batesburg-Leesville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Saluda's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. As for American Leadership Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

American Leadership Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Saluda in their previous matchup on January 14th, winning 41-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for American Leadership Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
