FOURTH QUARTER AUDIO REPLAY: El Dorado wins 58-55 over Liberty Ranch

The Cougars were led by 17 points from senior Miko Bear and 21 points from junior Jayden Ferreira. Senior Cody Howard also had a strong game, pulling down 13 rebounds, including several key offensive boards. Junior Jeremy Kimber and sophomores Drew Bird, Logan Baker and Clay Garrett all played big parts in the comeback victory.

Liberty Ranch junior Yousef Diab was the Hawks leading scorer with 14 points and senior Brayden Roots had 13 points.

El Dorado trailed by 17 points at one point before going on a fourth quarter run that included scoring the final 14 points of the game. Liberty Ranch was held to four points in the fourth quarter.

The win moves El Dorado to (16-5, 2-1), while Liberty Ranch falls to (8-13, 1-3). Both teams came in pretty evenly matched, with wins over Galt and losses to Union Mine.

The two squads will meet again Feb. 3 at Liberty Ranch.
