Basketball Game Preview: Blue Valley Rams vs. Centralia Panthers

Blue Valley is 0-9 against Centralia since January of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Blue Valley Rams just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Centralia Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

Blue Valley is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valley Heights.

Meanwhile, Centralia put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They walked away with a 58-46 victory over Axtell. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Eagles are ranked 110th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centralia's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. As for Blue Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
