Basketball Recap: Northfield Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Denver East came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against Northfield, but Judah Michael wouldn't allow it. The Northfield Nighthawks walked away with a 68-55 victory over the Denver East Angels on Wednesday thanks in part to Michael, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Denver East's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DAYESUN COLLIER, who went 8 of 19 on his way to 20 points and three steals. The win (which was Northfield's third in a row) raised their record to 11-4. As for Denver East, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
