Softball Recap: Orange Takes a Loss

Orange managed to slip by Santa Ana Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 7-1 to the Falcons on Wednesday. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Orange saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liliana Nunez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Santa Ana Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Orange is set to challenge their familiar foe Loara at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Santa Ana Valley will face off against rival La Quinta at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
