Softball Recap: Edison Vikings vs. Galt Warriors
Edison lost against Galt back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Edison lost 15-4 to Galt. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leila Tatupu and Mariah Torres did some serious damage despite the final result: Tatupu went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one RBI, while Torres scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Tatupu is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Angeleya Miranda was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases.
Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Galt, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will host Stagg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Edison their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Galt, they will take on El Dorado at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Galt is facing El Dorado at the right time seeing as El Dorado is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
