Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Darby Ward and Bentley Smart Lead North Hall to Victory

North Hall barely beat White County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

North Hall was led to victory by Bentley Smart and Darby Ward. Smart had 11 digs and four assists, while Ward had ten assists. That's the most digs Smart has posted since back in September of 2024.

North Hall was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive matchups.

North Hall's victory bumped their record up to 27-13. As for White County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-24 record this season.

As of now, neither North Hall nor White County have any future games scheduled.
