Volleyball Recap: Valor Academy Takes a Loss

Valor Academy lost against Discovery back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Valor Academy lost 3-0 to Discovery. Valor Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.

Valor Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 27-25.

Valor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Discovery, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Valor Academy will face off against rival Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Discovery is set to take on their familiar foe Sun Valley Magnet at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
