Basketball Recap: St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions vs. Marion County Warriors
St. Andrews-Sewanee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 71-15 defeat at the hands of the Marion County Warriors. The Mountain Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-7.
Marion County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lawson Bradford out in front who went 5 for 9 on her way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chrysia Timmis, who posted 12 points.
St. Andrews-Sewanee's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Marion County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.
St. Andrews-Sewanee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
