Basketball Game Preview: Platte Canyon Huskies vs. Sheridan Rams

Platte Canyon is on a four-game streak of home losses, Sheridan a 17-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Platte Canyon Huskies will host the Sheridan Rams at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Platte Canyon is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Middle Park on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Platte Canyon was dealt an 83-26 defeat at the hands of Middle Park. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-12.

Meanwhile, Sheridan came up short against Arvada on Thursday and fell 69-60.

Platte Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Sheridan, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everything came up roses for Platte Canyon against Sheridan in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 70-36 victory. Does Platte Canyon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sheridan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
