Volleyball Game Preview: Pine Crest Panthers vs. Gulliver Prep Raiders + Official Tickets

The Pine Crest Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Gulliver Prep Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pine Crest comes in on four and Gulliver Prep on six.

Pine Crest is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Saint Andrew's 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Pine Crest who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 19-25, 25-18, 15-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Gulliver Prep made easy work of Monsignor Pace on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Gulliver Prep never let Monsignor Pace on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-18.

Pine Crest's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Gulliver Prep, their win bumped their record up to 21-7.

Pine Crest skirted past Gulliver Prep 2-1 when the teams last played on October 8th. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Raiders' Mia Lavalle, who had 29 digs and four assists.
