Volleyball Game Preview: Forge Christian Fury vs. DSST: College View Wolves

The Forge Christian Fury will head out to face off against the DSST: College View Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Forge Christian comes in on three and DSST: College View on four.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Forge Christian and Jefferson Academy, and Forge Christian kept the tradition alive. The Fury walked away with a 3-1 win over the Jaguars on Wednesday.

Forge Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-17, 25-12, 25-23.

Meanwhile, DSST: College View hadn't done well against DSST: Montview recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wolves blew past the Knights 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-9, 25-14.

The victory got DSST: College View back to even at 7-7. As for Forge Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Everything went Forge Christian's way against DSST: College View in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Forge Christian made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fury since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
