Basketball Recap: Hopewell-Loudon Comes Up Short

If Hopewell-Loudon was riding high fresh off their 67-29 takedown of St. Joseph Central Catholic last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers on Tuesday. The contest was a 18-18 toss-up at halftime, but the Chieftains couldn't quite close it out.

Hopewell-Loudon's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-7.

Hopewell-Loudon will be playing at home against Woodmore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, they will face off against Lakota at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
