Football Recap: Leonard Comes Up Short

Leonard fell victim to Royal Palm Beach and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 19-0 bruising from the Wildcats. The Lancers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Royal Palm Beach can attribute much of their success to Monica Blanc, who threw for 51 yards and two TDs. What's more, Blanc racked up 89.1 passer rating, the most she's had since back in March.

Leonard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Royal Palm Beach, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Leonard will face off against Cardinal Newman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Lancers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Royal Palm Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
