Softball Game Preview: Harding University Rams vs. Cox Mill Chargers

The Harding University Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Cox Mill Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harding University's hitters has struggled lately (they haven't scored a run in four consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.

Harding University fell victim to A.L. Brown and their airtight pitching crew last Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Wonders.

Cox Mill couldn't beat West Cabarrus on Friday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the third inning. The Chargers came up short against the Wolverines, falling 20-10. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Cox Mill saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evie Flores, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that Flores has hit this season. Jayla Freeman was another, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Harding University's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cox Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
