Basketball Recap: St. James Academy Comes Up Short

St. James Academy and Bishop Miege squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. James Academy had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to the Bishop Miege Stags. The Thunder were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Stags earlier this season, when they won 61-51.

St. James Academy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Bishop Miege, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bishop Miege beat St. James Academy by a score of 53-52 on Friday.
