Volleyball Recap: Maple Heights Comes Up Short

Maple Heights managed to slip by Brush the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mustangs came up short against the Arcs on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Arcs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-14.

Maple Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brush, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple Heights will head out to face off against Garfield Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brush, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Arcs are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
