Minerva has gone a perfect 4-0 against Edison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Lions will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. Minerva has given up an average of 3.3 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Minerva is headed into Saturday's contest following a draw, the team's first since August 23. Neither they nor Alliance could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 5-5 draw. The outcome might've been different if Ireland Kirkpatrick hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Minerva's offense was hitting Alliance from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to Sandy Valley.

Minerva's draw makes their record 4-6-2 this season. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1.

Everything went Minerva's way against Edison when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Minerva made off with an 11-0 win. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
