Baseball Preview: Ashland Clockers vs. Westwood Wolverines
The Ashland Clockers will head out to take on the Westwood Wolverines at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ashland has three straight victories, Westwood has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Ashland barely beat Dedham the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Clockers blew past the Marauders 10-3 on Monday. The Clockers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Grady Clark was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. Clark was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.
