Softball Preview: Ocean City Raiders vs. Egg Harbor Township Eagles
Ocean City hasn't had much luck against Egg Harbor Township recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Egg Harbor Township took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Ocean City, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Ocean City made easy work of Cedar Creek and carried off a 10-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Jessica Mooney made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Taylor Vaugh, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Leah Catto was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
