Pillow Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 66-55 win over the East Webster Wolverines. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Wolverines are ranked 139th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pillow Academy has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for East Webster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
