Volleyball Recap: Norton Takes a Loss

Norton lost against Beloit back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluejays took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Audrey Bina paced Norton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bina got some help from Leah Clark and her 16 assists. Finally, Alexis David kept Norton's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Norton's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Beloit, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Norton has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Goodland on the 20th. As for Beloit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against West on the 20th.
