Lincoln North Star came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Westview Wolverines 76-45. For the Navigators, this counts as revenge for the 71-53 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Lincoln North Star's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Castor, who posted 12 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists. That's the most rebounds Castor has posted since back in January. J'Shawn Afuh was another key player, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 16 points.

Lincoln North Star's record is now 4-1. As for Westview, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Lincoln North Star won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Millard North at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westview and Papillion-LaVista South will round out the year against one another at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
