            It was a proper cat-fight when Archbishop Carroll faced off against Bishop Ireton on Saturday. The Lions put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp  30-10 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 20  points or more this season.

Archbishop Carroll's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Avery Glass, who threw for 318 yards and three  touchdowns while picking up 15.9 yards per attempt. Glass' passing game has become a key predictor of the Lions' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.  Tk Davis helped  Glass out on the ground, rushing for 141 yards and one  TD while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
 Archbishop Carroll was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 203  rushing yards. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they've run for more than 200 yards.
Archbishop Carroll now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bishop Ireton,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
