Mt. Spokane's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lewis & Clark Tigers a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mt. Spokane is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Lewis & Clark, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Mt. Spokane will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
