Basketball Recap: Rosebud-Lott Cougars vs. Milano Eagles
Rosebud-Lott was the 83-48 winner over Milano when they last played one another back in November of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Rosebud-Lott Cougars took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milano Eagles on Friday.

Despite the loss, Rosebud-Lott saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Pryce Rabroker dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Rabroker has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Johnson, who posted five points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Rosebud-Lott smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.
Rosebud-Lott has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Milano, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-14.
