Softball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rogers's offense. They fell just short of the Spring Lake Park Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Royals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Spring Lake Park, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Rogers will square off against Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spring Lake Park, they will face off against St. Anthony Village at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
