Portal lost to Washington County back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Panthers managed a 12-7 victory over the Golden Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Portal's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Washington County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Portal and Washington County will both be playing Baldwin the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Golden Hawks will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
