Baseball Recap: Masterman Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Masterman can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, Masterman's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Masterman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Kingsley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Masterman's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Masterman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Philadelphia Academy Charter, they will head out to challenge Central at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
