Saint Andrew's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Oxbridge Academy with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Scots have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Chase Lambalot looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aaron Orozco, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Berman, who scored four runs while going 2-for-4.
Saint Andrew's always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oxbridge Academy only posted an OBP of .214.
Meanwhile, Cardinal Gibbons came up short against St. Thomas Aquinas on Thursday and fell 8-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Chiefs in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.
Travis Hogan was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Eddie Marshall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Saint Andrew's pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 9.38 hits in those games compared to only 5.2 in the others. As for Cardinal Gibbons, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
Cardinal Gibbons' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Saint Andrew's hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. It's a different story for Cardinal Gibbons, though, as they've only averaged .218. Will they be able to contain Saint Andrew's hitters?
