Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Our Lady of Good Counsel). They walked away with a 66-59 win over The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, The Academy of the Holy Cross still got an impressive performance from Zoey Seymour, who went 13 of 23 en route to 27 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Seymour is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Kenly Wu, who posted 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Our Lady of Good Counsel moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for The Academy of the Holy Cross, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Our Lady of Good Counsel has already played their next matchup, a 75-34 loss against Bishop McNamara on the 24th. As for The Academy of the Holy Cross, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-51 defeat against Elizabeth Seton on the 24th.
