It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but American Fork ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Skyridge Falcons, sneaking past 56-53. This was a revenge game for the Cavemen: when they faced off against the Falcons back in January, they had to take a 60-56 loss.

American Fork's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jax Clark, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Hucks, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Skyridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carson Mosteller, who put up 16 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. Ryder Gentry was another key player, putting up 16 points.

American Fork's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Skyridge, they dropped their record down to 12-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

American Fork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-50 win against Fremont on the 19th. As for Skyridge, they will challenge Lone Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
