Soccer Game Preview: Hartsville vs. Lower Richland

The Hartsville Red Foxes will face off against the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartsville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 25 goals over their last three matchups.

While Hartsville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Conway on Monday as Hartsville made off with a 7-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Red Foxes in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Hartsville hit Conway with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Skylar Ford (3), Emma Thomas (2), Sara Preston Hall, and Mary Jackson Caldwell.

Meanwhile, Lower Richland fell victim to Crestwood and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Knights. The Diamond Hornets haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Hartsville's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lower Richland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
