Baseball Recap: Canyon Hills Takes a Loss

Canyon Hills managed to slip by Crawford the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rattlers came up short against the Colts on Thursday, falling 20-5. The Rattlers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Colts earlier this season, when they won 11-10.

Canyon Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josue Flores, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Canyon Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-2. As for Crawford, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-10 record.

Looking ahead, Canyon Hills will welcome San Dieguito Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Rattlers are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Crawford, they will head out on the road to challenge High Tech SD at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Storm have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
