Softball Recap: Eastern Randolph Comes Up Short

Eastern Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the North Moore Mustangs. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2017.

Eastern Randolph saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vivian Underwood, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base. Another was Jersey Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Eastern Randolph's record now sits at 2-12. As for North Moore, they moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, North Moore will face off against Montgomery Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastern Randolph will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' contest: after the Mustangs face off against the Timberwolves, they'll take on Eastern Randolph again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
