Softball Recap: South Drops Highest Score of Season Against North

South took a 17-run defeat the last time they faced off against North, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Titans won by a run and slipped past the RedHawks 12-11. The Titans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

South's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for North, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North will challenge rival Kapaun Mt. Carmel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
