Softball Recap: Lyons Gets the Win

Nine must be Lyons's lucky number: they beat North Rose-Wolcott with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Lions beat the Cougars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-4. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Rylee Richardson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Kamryn Bonnell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lyons was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Rose-Wolcott only posted a batting average of .241.
