Ola won the last time they faced Veterans and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warhawks 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Ola who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 15-10.

Veterans' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Baughier, who had eight assists and seven digs.

Ola's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Veterans, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Ola will take on Creekside Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Veterans will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' contest: after the Mustangs face off against Locust Grove, they'll take on Veterans again at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
