Basketball Recap: Jefferson's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

Jefferson pushed their score to 40 the last time they played Molina, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Jefferson Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Molina Jaguars 27-25. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Jefferson's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Molina, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will square off against White at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Molina, they will challenge Sunset at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Molina is facing Sunset at the right time seeing as Sunset is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
